What is Embroidery?

The art of embroidery dates as far back as 30,000 BC - to the earliest of modern humans. Archaeological findings discovered these early homo sapiens learned how to fashion their own clothes using heavy stitching. Additionally, Chinese thread embroidery dates back to 3,500BC where art illustrations clearly depict workers embroidering clothing with early silk thread combined with decorative gems and pearls.

 

Unlike any other method of printing, embroidery creates a raised, textured effect achieved by stitching thread in any desired pattern to recreate a logo or design. The now high-tech process of embroidery allows for exact reproduction of any supplied digital artwork in the form of hundreds and thousands of tiny little stitches of thread.
